  The Second European Economic Congress will be held from 31 May to 2 June 2010. The original dates for April were changed due to the consequences of the Smolensk catastrophe and the national mourning.
  
  As previously assumed, the Second European Economic Congress will be the largest business event in our part of Europe. There will be as many as 4,000 participants, almost 700 speakers and dozens of sessions and panel debates, and great attention from Polish and European media, which is the shortest description we can make of our event.
  
  For a while, the national tragedy changed, particularly in the Polish perspective, the hierarchy of important issues. However, economic and political problems and challenges to Poland and Europe which have become a crucial load of the Congress have remained relevant. The enormous interest in the second edition of the congress which we have received even at the announcing stage is convincing in the real and urgent character of the discussion on the economic future of Europe, its development perspectives, the new European order and strategic decisions to be made.
